NCC Activities
NCC Unit in KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA BADDOWAL CANTT , Punjab runs under the guidance of respected Principal Mr NARESH KANT and under the dynamic leadership of respected Commanding Officer Col ROHIT KHANNA of 3 PB BN NCC, LUDHIANA. The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its head Quarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. Total strength of the cadets registered is as below

In the month of April 2023 enrolment process of new cadets for first year JD was carried out in which total 33 JD cadets were registered, but cadets got transferred, so 26 Cadets were at the end of session.
Same in the year 2024 enrolment process of new cadets was carried out and total 24 cadets were registered.
Various activities were planned and conducted as per the schedule given by the NCC authorities. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Drawing competition on International Millets Year 2023, Drawing competition on Communal Harmony, National Unity Run, Plantation Drive, Pledge on SAY YES TO LIFE, NO TO DRUGS, Yoga activities from time to time.
CATC, Republic Day, Independence Day Celebration were some of the activities organized. The students are motivated to join NCC and perform various social and patriotic activities and hence serve the nation. They are also encouraged to join defense forces in the future.
Regular NCC classes of theory and practical were organized by the Pl staff of 3 PB BN NCC Ludhiana and caretaker of NCC unit Mr. Krishan Kumar from this Vidyalaya.
Lectures and other motivational programme were organized in which NCC officials gave their visionary ideas and fruitful views.
25 Cadets from our Vidyalaya attended camp at GNE College, Ludhiana. Total 17 cadets appeared in NCC A certificate exam on 4th Feb 2024 held in Ramgarhia Sr Sec. School, Ludhiana.
For smooth functioning of NCC activities in Vidyalaya guidance and instructions were received from respected Commanding Officer 3 PB BN NCC Col Rohit Khanna.

Scouts and Guides is an integral part of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and followed very religiously in every KV. It helps in building confidence and self esteem among the students. It provides opportunities for students to explore and discover the world beyond the classroom. To develop the feeling of universal brotherhood , compassion and benevolence, the students from class III – X are encouraged to enroll themselves and dedicate themselves to the service of the mankind. Children participate in the Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Puraskar camps. Rallies and Utsav for students Class III-V (Cubs and Bulbul) are organized.
